The third button, Update Outlook Task List, creates or updates Microsoft Outlook's Task or "To Do" list with each task and when it is next due.  Outlook will then remind you when things are next due.

You can also have C.A.R. automatically do this for you, or ask you anytime you exit a changed logbook.
