We offer effective, beautiful, state of the art websites of all sizes and for most user needs.  Even if you have no idea of what a website is and how you go about getting one, we'll be happy to guide you step by step.

The cost of having a website has never been lower -- we host most sites we create for free!

We'd like to show you a few websites that we have designed -- we can't show you all of them.  Some customers have used our service just to "get started" and have taken their sites beyond what we furnished.  Some of the following are are commercial sites, some are divisions of C.A.T, and some are the personal sites of C.A.T.'s President, Chris.  (C.A.T. is responsible for the design of all these sites, but not their contents.)

E-Commerce Sites

An e-commerce site is a complete store on the Internet.  A good site:

All that is left is for you to pick and ship the order.

Fancier stores may offer things like customer written product reviews, may suggest other products based on what you are buying, show what is on sale this week, etc.

Don't settle for a store without prices, without a way to place an order, or one that asks the customer to call you.  Your potential customer will go on to find a site that will take their order.

Make sure you are going to be able to maintain your store on your own -- add or remove products, change prices, etc.  You shouldn't have to pay anyone to do this.

Simple Web Store

We have two types of "pre-designed" stores.  These can be modified to suit your needs, but you don't have to pay for creating a store from scratch. We can use Agora Cart and other carts, or use the PayPal Cart.

Fancy Web Store

Here is a sample version (not a real store) of the "fancy" store we can supply:

If you'd like to see how you manage this type of store, add products, take orders, etc., please write.  It is easy to work with once it is set up.

What We Can't Do

We cannot  get people to visit your website.  We can help you get submitted to search engines, but you must get people to visit your website.  Opening an e-commerce website is like opening a small business in your garage -- no one is going to drop in by accident.  No one will ever know your website exists unless you tell them about it, or search engines send them.

Getting listed with search engines is good for certain types of websites, like those that offer a specialty item or a unique service.  For example, if you make reproduction Studebaker exhaust systems, someone will put "studebaker exhaust" into Google and you will likely pop right up.  Or say you are one of two hunting lodges in Big Tooth, AK -- someone might Google "Hunting Alaska" and you likely will show up.

But if you sell diamond rings -- search engines will be of no help.  If someone Googles "Diamond ring" they will get hits on 9,600,000 web pages.  If you want a store to sell rings -- you must have some sort of advertising planned or your site will never get a single visitor.

It's really the same as a real store -- unless you have a very unique business, you just can't open your door, you must advertise.  Nothing magic about the Internet.

Commercial Web Sites

You may not have use for a store, but a website can still be invaluable to your business.  It is your "presence" on the Internet.

You get professional email addresses, Me@MyCompany.com, not MyCompany@HotMail.com.  You can get literature into a customer's hands in a few seconds vs. mailing them a brochure.  They can view product manuals, see what designs look like, get user's manuals.

With a little work, you will show up on search engines like Google when people are looking for your service or product.  People looking for your product or service after business hours can still see your company and learn about your products.

Web sites aren't like a printed brochure -- you can make as many changes as you want anytime you want.

One Page Sites

A quick and simple one-page site gets you on the Internet with a minimum of time and cost.  You can it a starting point for a future site of any size.

Here is a smart business owner that got his domain name before someone else did, and set up simple one-page site till they are ready for larger websites. This site is intentionally designed to look "simple",  because the business wanted a very simple, low cost look.  If you want to look like Tiffany's, we can do that too.

Here is another division of C.A.T. that sells a computer program.  It does allow purchases, but does not need a shopping cart:

Other Web Sites

You can have a web site for just about any purpose, not just commercial purposes.  If you want to make information available to the world, put it on a web site.
